Maybe it was the voice of KH that the players wanted to listen to all along, the only way to change it would be what they have done.
Just my opinion of course, not saying that is what happened.
I haven't been in contact with any of the players just things I've heard from people who have .but I think Murray was maybe trying to make things more professional by giving the players a lot more information than they really need .so they were thinking to much into the games instead of just going out and doing there jobs.we have certainly played more attacking football in the last 2 games than we have all season. The players look more comfortable on the pitch this is showing in the 2 games since Adam went.so maybe Carl has just made it more simpler to go out and enjoy the game .

At halftime whereas the 2 subs who came on were kicking the ball about, Chapman did the bare minimum and had the look of someone who simply wasn't interested.
he knew McGuire was playing well so wouldn't get on .what a difference it is having someone on the pitch who encourages all the time instead of moaning at everyone. McGuire m.o.m.for me got tired at the end but put a good shift in.

What a difference playing attacking football makes the team have finally had there shackles taken off and aloud to play. Great team performance.

Don't get me wrong we should have won by more because they weren't very good in all honesty and we should have been more clinical when on top but to keep fighting with ten men on a wet pitch was a huge positive.
only one negative why don't we start putting pressure on the opposition till the second. Like the Kidderminster game a very good 2nd half when we are more attack minded.vinno was very stupid noneed to go over the top like he did .a certain red card can't defend him what a pity as he has been very good when he has come on in games

I am as upset as anyone with some of our performances this season but I thought some of the lads gave 100% today. The fact is we need a ball playing midfielder and somebody ( anybody ) who can stick it in the net. We keep saying the teams we have played are poor and it is a fact any team can beat any other on their day so let's stay behind the team and give it few more games before we  get to critical, I know that sounds rich coming from someone who has slammed some players on here but I am going to bite my tongue for a while and give them a chance.
Thats what  we are saying to the manager as well give someone else a chance in the middle of the park .he's says people were tired today but Chapman has plaid every minute of every game .why not change him for a change let's see if the young ones play better without him moaning at them all the time .one example today the manager tells yeoman's to stay back Chapman moans at him for not pushing on and also rallings surely if the captain moans at them all the time it doesn't help.

As far as I can remember I never said or hinted that you had!
I stand on the Spain Road side and all I ever hear is 'get him off'  'you're rubbish' I might locate to the 'happy clappers' stand, just to get away from it.
it's no better in the main stand! Especially near the dugout! It's only a matter of time before a chap who sits behind me demands Chapman to be subbed whilst they're still warming up!
what dugout are you talking about home or away ?

Not a good result at all.  We are still missing a good player up top to be a threat consistently. I am already concerned that this season will echo last season were we won't go up, but we won't go down. Surely we cannot be accepting of that already, we as a club of this stature should be competing in the top half a dozen, to a generous top ten.  Murray is a nice bloke, talks the game well, but he must start to deliver things on the pitch soon at a consistent rate.  This is not being negative, just a fair reflection of where we are currently. Lets hope we get a better result at the weekend !
messi should never play again then ??not seen many defenders smaller than him .I bet if you look at stats vinno made more tackles .passes.headers won than most of the team

Totally agree .got totally outplayed by a fitter better football team we were lucky it wasn't a lot more .no point in slagging the team of they just weren't as good as spennymore were.it was interesting to hear Alan white say to me does your manager always take his best player off meaning vinno and leave the number 8 on .I had to reply yes but what do I know about football I just thought you gave everyone a chance to proove themselves and if they played well you play them but obviously not.he did say he enjoyed his time here though which was good to hear

It is quite amusing though that the people around me know I go to all home and away games and before kick off ask me what the referee is like and I'm mostly right with my Answers. Believe it or not there are a few half decent ones but I mostly see them at away games. The local ones we get at least 5 times a year each do seem to be the worst though

You can't really complain about a referee just because you think he's biased. I was talking to a Stockport fan on the way out and he thought the referee was rubbish as well. It's just the standard of referee we get at this level. Adam Murray did mention it after the game that the standard of referee in our league wasn't good

We are Desperate for a striker, hope we get one by next week and hope next weeks ref does not come on the away bus again ?
it showed today that some of our players are very inexperienced we didn't stop when we got pulled back just tried to carry on and loose the ball. Rollins especially. Danny Lloyd for them a good example of how to win free kicks and get people booked. It's not cheating just making the most of a situation

Two new players in so far, but what chance do we have today of a result ?

We still have the same set of players who until today, have not seemed up to the required standard minus a few. Let's remember that several people had stated that these players were not worthy of the shirt and should bugger off, so are they going to be right in giving them another chance, or come 5 will we be back to the gripes and groans.  Let's hope for a win, it's going to be a tough one !  For those going, get behind them and even if we go behind keep the noise a rocking !!!
I'm one fan who has stated that most don't have enough quality or effort to wear the shirt, but like you say, let's hope a new start with a new manager and new attitudes on the field start to make the foundations of a recovery. Sure, we are not going to change into a top half team overnight, so expectations have to be realistic. I'd settle for a more solid performance, less gaps in defense, more effort on the field, and players who look like they want to play for the shirt, rather than going through the motions just for the pay cheque. Draw away today wouldn't be the worst result by 5pm, so, as you say, let's get behind them.
great team performance today from everyone the future looks a lot better

The B-Ark / Re: "Pilgrims are an absolute shambles defensively"
« on: December 07, 2016, 10:13:31 AM »
I went to that shambles. In s season of new lows, we've crawled under the lower bar again. Shameful how players couldn't pass, win headers, track runners and win 50/50s after they got one back.
We were a car crash again all night at the back, had they had a prolific striker in the 2nd half especially,  they would've racked up eight or nine. We missed a sitter at the back post and their keeper made one comfortable save all night.
Embarrassing.
Can only wish them well in Rd 1 but imagine they'll be in for a shock at the gulf in level between us and chester
I was at the game last night and it has taken me till now to try to put into words what happens. We started like a team fired up ready to prove people wrong and got 2 good goals. Then one silly foul and they score and the game totally changed they grew in confidence and our defence looked like what we all know it is a group of people low in confidence and unable to do the simple things. On the way home we all agreed we really are in desperate trouble on the pitch and the new manager is going to have to be able to get rid of the players we have and bring in a whole new defence or I fear relegation. Only my honest opinion of the game some may see it differently I hope I'm wrong.
