Paul Ellender (Football Conference, Football League, Football Conference North and Northern Premier league)?

Am I right?

I can think of a few who have played in three leagues but not four( I mean levels not branded sponsors of the leagues ie. I class Unibond and Dr Martins as the same). I also understand that the Conference North/South have only been around for 5 or 6 years but still its no mean feat!

Mickey Nuttell, Paul Bastock, Gareth Jellyman, Stuart Talbot, Chris Wright, Peter Costello, David Farrell are all examples of three leagues.

Can't think of another, could be an obscure one that pinged back n forth from the club as a kid ( e.g. Dan Cotton) that got a game at all levels on the bench.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Surely Dr Martins should be the same level as Conf North with promotion to the Conference National. Elding played for us in the football league, Confrence National and Dr Martins.

Midland League
Southern League
United Counties League
West Midland League

Lakin, Howells, Donovan, Robinson, Roche and Fell were all part of the all conquering team that won the United Counties League, West Midlands League (twice) before appearing in the Northern Premier League.

Can we? League 2, Unidump and BSN. Cape Cannoville arrived after pronotion to the league so won't have played in the nationals.

At a real stretch of the definition you could add 1 onto the players above as occasionally Boston United played in two "leagues" in a season, e.g. in 1958/9 they played in the Interzone League as well as the Southern League North West Zone and in 1968/9 they played in the Eastern Professional Floodlit League as well as the Northern Premier League.

There is always one that has to take it too far.
