Tomorrows Games...
« on: March 05, 2010, 06:16:07 PM »
...fast approaching the permutations and combinations time of the season where results else where start to matter.

Buxton      vs      FC United of Manchester
 Durham City   vs      Boston United
 Frickley Athletic   vs      Matlock Town
 Marine      vs      Hucknall Town
 Nantwich Town   vs      Guiseley
North Ferriby United   vs   Kendal Town
Retford United      vs   Bradford Park Avenue

Stocksbridge Park Steels   vs   Ashton United
 Whitby Town      vs   Burscough
 Worksop Town      vs   Ossett Town

Some games that could help us along in that lot.  If we're still looking at the top rather than playoffs we've got to be looking at a Retford win.

So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Pitch looks in good knick  ;D

Is it me or do all these lower league grounds look the same.

Its difficult to tell one cow field from another to be fair.

If BPA win tommorow then the league is almost theirs, if they don't it blows it open a bit

Would love to see a cow try to eat that

It looks as though a god strong wind off the east coast has resited the grandstand and if you are unlucky enough to get a ticket for the wrong end you are not even overlooking the pitch,  ::)  :dan

I believe that if we beat Retford & BPA then we will win the league.

Unfortunately we have already played BPA twice, however there are teams they have to play in the promotion hunt that might do us a favour.

Retford is a massive game, the pressure ramps right up on bpa if we beat retthug.

Yeah agree and I like Retthug very fitting  ;D

Really need another win but is definitely a must not lose. Last time we beat Durham the next game we played a promotion rival away who also play in black and white stripes and lost, let's hope history doesn't repeat itself. As has been said a big test of our promotion credentials, we must stand toe to toe against their bully boy tactics if we can we have much better quality to get the right result.

They haven't played each other at all in the league yet, midweek Monday on the 30th March at BPA then the following Easter Monday 5th April at Guiseley. 2 draws please  ;D
