Well from the lack of response nobody finds this as amusing as me.

Suspicious device found in telephone box prior to RAF parade through Boston. Parade cancelled - bomb squad called who then make 3 controlled explosions after centre of town cordened off..........and they turned out to be ........................................air freshners................put there by BT

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

But surely most of the phone boxes these days have ruddy great gaps at the bottom, what the hell would they need air fresheners for??? ???

my son is in the bomb squad and frequently gets called out to suspicious packages, usually they are nothing to worry about but one day, as we have seen in the past, it could be for real. I find it sickening that people  find this to be amusing. Get real and live in the real world.

Yellowcoat I find it amusing because it was a BT fitment to a BT telephone box, I would have thought anyone with the job of inspecting telephone boxed should be fully aware of such devices.

I fully support the brave and difficult work of all our armed services. However, if someone directly involved could not see the amusing side then I can only say at least I found it amusing and was not describing anyone as incompetent.
