Ossett Match Thread?
« on: February 27, 2010, 07:05:04 PM »
Seeing as though one hasn't even been started!  7-0 win, another big win against a team that have drawn away at Guiseley, Kendal, and Retford.  Big wins like that make us look like a team that could win the league, but we need Bradford especially to drop points.  If we can win at Durham and follow that up with a win to overtake Retford that would really help cement a play-offs position.  Well done to the team today.  Maybe the Fans' Forum will provide some talking points?!

What a great goal from Sleath, one that made me simply go 'Woah!'

Ossett were a poor side, but you can only beat what's in front of you.We did that with a professional perfomance much like the Durham game.It could easily have been 10 again.Good performances throughout the team and as well as Churchy getting MOM i thought DD led the line brilliantly today.Shaun Pearson....that lad just keeps getting better and better.Well done lads.

It's going to be an exciting finish to the season, thought we played good today and could of get 10 but still a very good win. Retford is going to be a big game and can't afford to lose that one. But looking forward to the next 2 months :)

Good news is Retford have not been great at home, theyve won the majority of thier games away.

I think i read not too long ago theyve won 3 home games all season.

They have only played three at home all season!
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Great win but they where a poor side, like I said in the prediction league not much better than Durham. How the hell they have taken 4 points out of Kendal and got draws from away games at Guiseley and Retford lord only knows. Still can only beat what is put in front, more of the same next Sat. After that we will have some real tests in March with aways at Retford, Whitby and Ferriby (the latter 2 in the space of 4 days). How we get on in those 3 will define our season IMO.

Reference to the fact that they always seem to have their home games called off.  How many of their remaining games are at home?
