« on: March 02, 2010, 04:30:09 PM »
Boston United’s latest fans’ forum will take place in The Pilgrim Lounge on Tuesday evening.

Managers Rob Scott and Paul Hurst will be on the four-man panel, alongside United chairman David Newton and vice-chairman Neil Kempster.

The forum will get under way at 7.30pm and will allow supporters the opportunity to pose questions to the United quartet appearing on stage.

Big thumbs up from me.

On the pitch the Big un and Lil un seem to know what they are doing.

Off the pitch although we hemoraged money this year, K & N seemed happy that we were heading towards break even in the next few years.  Ground is not moving forward due to a halt on planning permission while flood risks are calculated in the whole Boston area which they are fighting through Chestnut homes.

The managers have a thing about not liking Kendal.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Thought the 'flood risk' situation had been sorted some what with them aquiring PP for Witham Park.

The council stated afterwards "we are open for business again".

I wasn't at the meeting last night so don't know if that was covered.

They mentioned it as a being something we are not on several occasions.

It was mentioned with regards players and wages with reference to playing in a cow field infront of 82 men and a dog or playing on our pitch with a proper stadia and grass.

Don't think it was a particular slur on Kendal, more a example team that sprang to mind quite a few times.
