Notts County line up Crawley boss Evans
« on: February 19, 2010, 12:59:08 PM »
I thought this deserved a new topic all of its own

Its not taken long to get to this stage!

He said (Evans): “I am ambitious like every manager. As soon as you lose that you might as well put the kettle on, put on your slippers and start drawing your pension.

What a good idea.

Unbelievable.

Just got back from a holiday in America and i find out that Robwell has taken over county and Evans is going with him.

I got a friend who supports County too.

I too have a friend who is a Notts supporter and he was most generous in his support when we were having our troubles with the inflated one, even though we were rivals in Division 2.
I really feel for him and other honest supporters who do not deserve this. We can only pray that things work out in the long run. Maybe the big man upstairs is biding his time.
By the way, he tells me that the true supporters always refer to their team as NOTTS, never COUNTY.

With everything going on in football at the moment - Wolves being fined for not putting a full side out when others in the Premier Division (no names!) get away with it, the Pompey situation, clubs being £millions in debt  - I cannot believe that the gruesome twosome get-together at County would be permitted under the FA's fit and proper regime. But then again . . . .!

Ive made no secret that I follow Wolves aswell as Boston and on the Wolves forum which I visit nearly as regularly as Patter someone has said and I quote " I wouldn't trust the F.A to run my Bath of an Evening" which I thought I would share.  Back on topic Notts are screwed!!!

looks like a case of R.I.P. County!   What the hell are the FA upto letting these two tossers team up - it beggars belief. :-\

I think the fine givrn to Wolves was suspended. Was a very harsh decision has it has been happening for years more so by the top clubs who were resting players on a Saturday so they could play European games midweek. Obviously the main difference with this case is it has been publisised more as they changed 10 players. This is nothing new now though and happens at all levels e.g our team when we played Hucknall in the league cup .

League CUP. Wolves did it for a normal league game.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.
