Ward has joined Altrincham, so not necessarily a bigger club but certainly one that's more established at this level.

Agree, not concerned about him. I suspect he only left because GC couldn't guarantee him a starting place next year. He's been a bit of a strange one for us as never really had a guaranteed spot throughout his time but stuck with us for two years and scored some key goals over that period. Gregory not returning is a much bigger loss.

Altricham certainly making a big thing of the Keaton signing.

An interesting interview with him on their website including describing his time at Boston.
When probed about the turnaround this season he made no mention of the manager and said it was down to the players and an element of luck in some games. Support for the chairman though..

I noticed this, also notice how when they talk about his time and appearances here they never give the number of starts in his appearances. Not going to say he's a dud but if you're looking at finishing top 7 in this league I think you'll be left disappointed by him.

Clearly he didn't get on with GC which is fair enough, that happens.

Worry for us is I think the squad from last year is going to get cut apart now, very strong talk that two more who were offered deals are also to leave so that's four from the list of ten who were offered or in talks gone.
