Nothing on here about last night’s game.

I thought it was an outstanding performance against what looked like a very good side in the first half.

Total respect for the players, but especially the manager and staff for the turnaround in fortunes.

As GC said, we have to do this every game now but the commitment and concentration last night was first class.

I thought it was a great night at the JCS.

UTP!

It was a good night indeed, and made up for sitting on the coach for three hours each way on Saturday. Like you I feared early on, but once we came out aggressively in the second half and scored they seemed to lose their way - although our pressing and closing down worked a treat. Nobody can criticize the effort of the team, and the second goal in particular came from a really good move. It may not be pretty at times, but we're not in a position to worry about that! I read a few of the posts on the Southend site, and I get the impression that they don't have anything like the connection with their team that has developed here over the past few months.

It makes me sorry to have to miss the next couple of games, but I shall be ready for Aldershot. UTP!

Top night, 100 percent effort. ( Except for the ref who just couldn’t wait to book our players ).

Great atmosphere, well done GC.

Highest midweek league attendance since Football League relegation.
