Rochdale tonight
« on: March 18, 2025, 09:56:52 AM »
I’m up in Leeds for work today and tomorrow so thought I would use my evening to go across to Rochdale. Is there anyone else making their way from Leeds by train tonight and where is decent for a pint pre match in Rochdale?

If you walk up Sandy Lane past the Ratcliffe club  always had a decent pint in the Cemetery Hotel . There's also Wilbutts Lane a decent chippy just around the corner from the ground.

A bus load are stopping off at the Cask and Feather in Rochdale. Landlady made us very welcome the last twice we went there.
I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.

Just back home. Another fantastic performance. Did get a bit jittery towards the end, and the Dale fans went ballistic that just 3 minutes were added. They seemed the slowest 3 minutes of the night!!

Super result. Our survival is now in our own hands without relying on other results - in theory!
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

Great result and performance against a very tidy footballing side who lacked a little firepower until we started to tire in the last 20 mins.

Faultless effort from everyone and if people didn’t believe before, they do now
