I'm still in a state of shock that he has somehow managed to talk his way back into football. Surely someone in the Notts County takeover team was involved in football at the time our pathetic gravy train rolled into Meadow lane with our big time charlie players and incompetant backroom staff?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

It appears on the face of it that the Notts Fans didn't infact know what a complete clown he was.

Jim is a good choice for the job. County have a big tax bill to sort out , after his time with Lavaflow surely he his on first name terms with most tax officials . Can also turn to his old mate for tax advice .

Aren't there laws against this sort of thing?

I thought that as long as your name isn't Peter Ridsdale then if you are a chairman of a firm that goes bust then you can't become a chairman/director/chief executive of another company.

And what about that "fit & proper" test the FA brought in?

It makes me wander where the actual power lies or more specifically how much Rodwell has? As a CEO you'd expect him to pretty much have carte blanche, I suppose it depends how much Ray Trew wants to get involved in the daily running of the club. If he has I wouldn't be surprised to see Ev*ns/Raynor and/or Sotnick involved in some way. I pity the County fans and there's only 1 way this is going (although on the plus side if they don't f*ck County totally we may have a Conf North derby against them in a year or 2).

If you are interested there is an article titled " Does anyone remember Boston United", It is on Notts County Football Club,     link  " Notts County Mad",  a Mr Daniel who wrote this article certainly does, surely FA.com will also.
