Jim Rodwell in Notts County takeover?

Jim Rodwell is the new Chief Executive of Notts County.  He's been the spokesman for the takeover today, which is being led by former Lincoln City Chairman and Lincolnshire-based businessman Ray Trew.  Could we see Sven Goran Eriksson leaving and good old Stevie Evans on his way in?  Had to laugh about the due dilligence bit.

So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Those poor Notts County fans, first they had all the problems with the takeover at the start of the season and now the possibility of Rob-well taking over and maybe giving the keys to safe to McFraud!! One of the County fans must REALLY have upset someone!  :(

That'll be an interesting one as the fuddy dudds at TheFA.com won't have forgotten how Robwell bent both us and them over and took us for a ride.

As he aint a direct owner i think he gets to wriggle out of it.

How ever if he does get collered and fails it. it wont be his foult it be the foult of other clubs mismanegment over the last ten years. WHAT A T**T.

Earlier this evening I was tuned into Matchtalk the BBC Radio Nottingham football show. As it was discussing the latest in the Notts County saga it was unfortunate that I had just taken a swig of tea as it announced the new Chief Exe as Jamie Rodwell. Luckily I was stood over the sink so the resultant spray effect didn't do too much damage. Jamie went on to talk about sustainability, he'd previously been involved in football (Didn't mention too many details about his time at Boston :D). Last I heard he was selling air conditioning units in France! Now he's the Chief Executive of Notts County! It's a funny old game,Saint. Still he did finish third in Britain's Brainiest Footballers so he's got more knowledge about football than the last clown running Notts, Peter Trembling .
