Not a name being bandied about and in all honesty I don't know much about the bloke other than his record is a bit average. By all accounts a decent bloke and hopefully he'll be a bit more engaging than Cully was by the end!

Good luck Graham - you're gonna need it!

If he keeps us up, he's an absolute hero! Sounds like previous fans rated him highly....
Good luck to him!

Wish him all the best but, like any appointed person at this club, he will have to work within the financial boundaries currently in place here.
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

It sounded like there was room in the budget for Cully to bring new players in so you never know what's possible... whether it's going to be enough to keep us up from this position is anyone's guess though!

My mate who supports Mansfield, said get used to the long ball. I'm not bothered if he can save us from relegation. Good luck Graham.
I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.

Whatever his style, I imagine he's only been given one aim....

Will it be pragmatism over style for the foreseeable?

For almost 25 years now, I have joined my friend three or four times a season to watch his team Plymouth Argyle. Coughlan was a central defender for the other Pilgrims in the early-mid 2000s and was a huge presence on the pitch. One of his teammates was David 'Nosher' Norris, although the Argyle supporters referred to him as 'Chuck'.

Scotty linked to a video on Twitter - it sounds like he's definitely more pragmatic and, dare I say it, conservative in his methods.

I won't care if we stay up but the worry is that the team was built around Cully's more possession-based style of play we saw at the start of the season (before he inexplicably started getting aimless balls hoofed in the general direction of Jacob Hazel).

Good luck to Graham Coughlan and I hope he can turn things around for us. 2 or 3 wins in the next three matches and things could look v different with us being close to the elusive 20th position.

However I actually felt Cully did close to the best with the squad and by implication budget he had as I can only assume if we had the budget for most of our summer signings to be experienced at this level then we would have signed those players from this level. And the budget thing is not a dig at the chairman just a realisation that we aren't a big club budget wise at this level, v much like a championship club that wins the playoffs to get into premier league and doesn't spend big typically gets relegated.

I really enjoyed his Radio Lincs interview, so here’s hoping!

A repeated plea from him to the fans…

This appointment is about as left-field as when Craig Elliot was made manager, nobody saw either of them coming.   I hope he does well and is able
to drag us out of the mire we are in at the moment.
