Sad it didn’t work out. I notice it says ‘resigned!’

Maude Joe is a bit peeved not to have been offered the temporary position.

Interview - great.

Woods ruling himself out of playing while interim boss - really not so great.

Really don’t think he is fit enough to play as we know he can..I know he needs minutes but not quite ready..

He needs minutes on the pitch though - bit of a Catch-22! Tuesday would've been ideal but as he says, not happening...

Let's hope we make an appointment sooner rather than later.

Who says he wasn't? Maybe that's what the decision he mulled over was... (I'm guessing).

Plus, he's certainly more of a coach than a manager - although he has managed in women's football before.

Paul Hurst has left Shrewsbury?

.... sacked after 6 wins in 37 games, perhaps not the right man for us right now?

And most likely never the right man for the Chairman again, having ditched us unceremoniously last time.

Agreed, apparently he and Rob blocked David and JB's calls once they'd spoken with Grimsby, they were un-contactable for several days.

Very poor form, football can be a fickle mistress

I honestly don't know what was going through their and John Fenty's brains at the time. Basic common sense says you can't just force a move through by resigning, as evidenced by us subsequently rinsing Grimsby at the court case.
