Agree it is a good read. I'm sure there are ways of encouraging people to apply if we really want to consider any of these to be manager. Let's be patient and see what develops

One thing about Cully was he won the games that really mattered, that's what set him apart. When we needed points he got them, yes it wasn't a great league but everyone was pretty consistent in their average-ness!

Tommy Taylor had a budget that was the envy of the league and finished 12th, by the next autumn we were flirting with relegation. A good guy and possibly the right guy at the time but his record in management is beyond mediocre.

Not saying it's gospel! Could be totally wrong, but it was a bit of a surprise when announced. He was obviously doing very well at Shaw Lane.

He also knew that project had plateaued and the owner was preparing to pull the plug.

Craig fell on his feet here, and he did OK, but I never expected to win the big games that mattered under him, our record against the top 6 in any given season was pretty average.

I've not taken any notice of how he's doing at BPA, I do hope he's getting a tune out of them though.

Edit; Didn't realize BPA went down in successive seasons so thats that plan down the tubes.
