Like that signing, had that ability to spark a game to life, create and score which is what we've missed at times this season.

Surprised by this as I thought any incomings would be left until the new manager arrives, which makes me wonder if Newton is planning on a bit of a "go slow" with finding a new boss and waits to see if Woods is good enough to have the gig until the end of the season? Or maybe not. Hard to tell with the lack of information we get.

Interested to see how Chadwick pans out - on paper it sounds good but we've had our fingers burned before by returning players. My one concern is he's churned through three NL clubs in a very short time which leaves me wondering if he's up to the level. We'll know very quickly, I think!

It's only for a month as well, so realistically just the seven games. If he's successful with us, my worry is York will just take him back...

I am seriously happy. Billy is my idea of Peter Beardsley in the lower leagues. Don't be at all surprised  if he "pirates" a goal on Saturday. He's got a quicker footballing brain than defenders at this level. I don't know why York said yes to the loan and I don't care. Welcome back Billy!!!!
