8 grand stewards bill plus the cost of putting up a new fence
400 of us paying about 15 quid on average won't even pay for that bill 🤣

Personally I can’t find any sympathy for anything or anyone  at The Walks.
The Chairman thinks he’s a gangster and seems to have little sustained respect for any fan base. It’s always seemed to me  that it’s a case of how much he can take out of their pockets every chance he has.  And before anyone tells me how it’s the fans that suffer, well I’m sorry but I can’t sympathise there either.    A couple of years ago a section of so-called fans were p*ssing into pint glasses and then lobbing them into an away section where youngsters were stood with parents!   The stewards watched and turned away, allowing it to happen.    Would I lose a minute of sleep if they folded again?    100% not.

I am entirely in agreement (as one of the ones with my kids spattered with piss). Nasty club, nasty fans, inept and unfriendly stewards. My only regrets if they go under will be: 1) how much I have spent on tickets there only to be treated like a convict; 2) our 6pts in the next 7 days against them will be chalked off as they are struck from the league.

Couldn't agree more, Pete. One might have marginally more sympathy if there wasn't the unpleasant undercurrent. Only Fylde in my experience has been as unwelcoming. The tone is often set by the chairman.

Please add Solihull borough to that list.....

I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.

That remains to be seen. Why would someone from Singapore 'invest' in KL. 'Strong fanbase'?! 'Sustainable'? Mmmm. We'll see......

A friend and KL supporter, told me that a deal was in the offing.  He told me four local business men were prepared to invest, but the Chairman had to walk.  I was told about this before Christmas.

They'd be well rid of him. You have to be suspicious of anyone who'd go in with him still in place. I hope for KL fans' sake that they get local people involved.

Nothing would surprise me if The Walks ends up as another housing estate a bit like Fenland Park, the old home of Wisbech Town and Kings Lynn end up in a similar mess to The Fenmen.

Lump on.
