Well done to Boston's other team in getting promoted. Five ex Boston players or six if it was the same Jordan Richards that played for us.
The older I get, the earlier it gets late

The Jordan Richards playing was indeed the Jordan Richards that played for us  - but he was the Richards playing for Brackley, not the Richards in the Kidderminster team.

which rather supports my constant assumption they were poorly managed by CE...........

That side would have cantered the league last season with a decent manager

The manager so poor he's taken a village side to a higher place finish than us!

It also shows how good our scouting team was then.

That's a bit disrespectful to Buxton, however they are being bankrolled somewhat and that's why Elliot is there, if they were being run on a sustainable budget he'd be nowhere near them.

We all know it was Richard who was the brains behind the recruitment, the fact is Elliott hopelessly failed to get a tune out of a bunch of players who have proven themselves to be winners in a properly managed environment.  You seem to base your respect for Elliott on him being a nice guy, which he was, but he came up woefully short when it mattered in the big games.

And lets be honest, given the shambles of last summer's recruitment it took a pretty poor side to finish below us, it was no achievent to finish above us last season!

Said it over and over Eddie, Richard was the brains, Elliott to his credit has realised this and ditched the clowns he surrounded himself with here and got him on board. I expect Buxton to recruit well this summer and be strong contenders.

To be honest I didn't think Kiddy were that great when we played them in March. Better than us but they had a lot of the ball but never particularly looked like scoring. Given what they have done since, maybe we were better than I thought that day...
