Well, it wasn't pretty but I suppose that's to be expected in these relegation tussles. After we were distinctly second best in the first half, at least Cully was decisive enough to change the system that wasn't working at half time and not wait any longer. Am delighted that Ben Pollock was finally MOM.

Earlier in the season we’d have lost games like yesterday, but we’ve found a way to dig in and ground out ugly results.

I’m a big believer in needing a strong spine and with a decent keeper now in situ along with the properly fit Shiels and Burrow along with the ever dependable Platt, we have that strong spine at last.

Add to that the quality and energy around them, particularly Chadwick and Nixon, albeit loanees, we’ve got players out there who are giving it everything.

Another big plus for me is if Zak Mills being  fit. I appreciate he’s not a box to box midfielder, but he sees passes others don’t think of and his previously playing at a better level still shines through.

My glass of definitely more full than it was in December!

Hasani changed the game. I don't know why he doesn't start more often

Agreed,Hasani was quality yesterday as was Sephton who seems to be growing into his position every game. Felt sorry for Sanders who did little wrong but I think we could all see the formation wasn't working.

Couldn't understand why Ferguson didn't come on after the sending off.  Seemed the logical thing to do in my opinion.
I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.
