Tony 'The Crane' Crane
« on: January 30, 2010, 01:15:56 PM »
Have been unable to make the trip to Kendal today due to a virus, so have been having a look round one or two sites. I notice that Wakefield FC have two familiar-sounding players on their squad list - Jon Froggatt and Tony 'The Crane' Crane...

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/wakefieldfc/?primary=senior&secondary=players_coaches&team_id=

I know it is "our" Jon Froggatt, but is this the same Tony 'The Crane' Crane? There's no profile (nor photograph) on the Wakefield site for him and he's listed as a striker, but you have to wonder.

Does anyone know?

EDIT: At no stage when entering the above post did I type "The Crane." What's going on?

Froggy moved on last week, they would not afford their leading scorer (yes you read that right!) so he moved to Belper Town.  The Wakey Express said nothing about Crane?

Both Froggy and Ollie Ryan played up front for Belper on Saturday and got beat 1-0 by Spalding! Apparently they were awful ....but so was the pitch. Cracking win for Spalding though.
