Why are bufc bothering to travel all the way to Taunton for a pre season friendly, seems a waste of money?

I wonder if they are playing this game on the Friday, and then having a 'pre-season team-bonding weekend' whilst down there?

Wonderful fixture for me!! But then I'm a bit biased, living just 20 miles up the road from Taunton !

I think that's the intention, going from what Scotty heard off Roy.

Friday game, so presumably an evening kick off. How many fans are going to stick around for food at 10pm when they've then got a five hour journey home?

Guessing I'd say fans will make a weekend of it and do something down in the SW on the Saturday or over the weekend. Who knows!?
