Depends if Brackley Town treat the competition with respect and do not "rotate" their squad on the day. If BUFC go there with a full regular squad of players then we stand every chance of winning. I have always maintained that any club in the Step 1-2 range that wishes to treat this competition seriously stands a good chance of at least reaching the quarter finals.

Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

Yes, a great result which I'm more than happy to praise after my criticisms following the Darlington game.

I have now thawed out, trust me it was colder than a mother in laws kiss at Brackley today but the lads did their best to warm us up. Freezing and blowing a gale for all the game it was our boys who dealt with the conditions the best. Playing with the wind at their backs in the first half we scored two excellent goals, the first was Elliot running on to a bouncing ball and lifting it sweetly over their keeper from an angle. The second was a beautiful shot from the edge of the area arrowing into the bottom corner from who else but Shayne Byrne against his old club. Brackley got back into the game shortly after the restart through a bit of a mix up in our box and we were preparing for an onslought. Playing up the slope and into the wind we coped very well against a good attacking team playing as high as we could and making some good yards forward, It has to be said that Duxberry gave his all getting us up the pitch with some great work so it was a real shame that he collected a second booking and was dismissed on a stretcher (get well soon Dux). Some great defending and another class save from our keeper saw us worthy winners. Just hope it's warmer in May at Wembley.  UTP

Played the conditions well, took our chsncrs then defended much better 2nd half to limit them with the same advantages we had earlier on.
Hopefully the confidence booster we need to play better away on a regular basis

Just what the doctor ordered. Well done lads.
I have removed the shell from my racing snail to make it go faster, if anything it's made it more sluggish.

Honestly, when the draw was made, with our away form being as woeful as it was, I too thought we stood absolutely no chance of progressing.

Fair play though, CE has changed around the system and got an excellent result.

Kiddy at home now in the next round.

Perhaps CE has been listening to us ;) ;)
