God we’re so bored

That sums it up nicely, apart from the signings there's not a lot of other info coming from the Club.

Would be nice if the club did what Lincoln have done today ie; Thrown open the ground for fans to go in and get a feel for what it will be like  when they can actually go  back in the future.

Maybe we could re-sign Steve Circuit     (.... A decent player in his day)

Get Phil Watt back as well. And maybe Lee Power?

Someone mentioned the floodlights on Twitter and Jim the groundsman said "Don't worry, it's all in hand"

Great to see the floodlights going up again and this statement from the club website:

Following issues with one of the floodlights at the new stadium, we have worked closely with the specialist design and build contractor who supplied the masts to understand how the incident occurred.

A design issue was identified with one of the joints in the mast. As a consequence, the joints of the masts have been redesigned, with the new design receiving independent third party verification, to give ourselves and everyone confidence in the structural stability of the floodlights going forward.

The floodlights will now be erected over the coming days, with testing complete ahead of the first home pre-season fixture on Saturday July 17.

This is the first such incident in the contractor's 60-year history, however this was a real blow to everyone at the club, having put so much hard work into delivering the new stadium, but we are thankful that no-one was injured - and none of the new buildings were damaged at the time.
United we stand..................
