Professor Van Tam
« on: February 24, 2021, 08:18:43 PM »
Did anyone see Prof. Van Tam On This Morning? He was " spot-on" with the Covid questions and amazingly got Piers Morgan to say sorry for interrupting him! The end of the interview was fantastic where he declared he was considering having a BUFC tattoo on his "deltoid" muscle. Susanna Reid  was impressed, so was Lorraine Kelly. This guy is special.

If he has a BUFC tattoo, I’m having one for my 60th birthday in April!

With JVT giving BUFC national coverage, surely the club could take advantage of this in some way.  I am sure some astute marketing person could generate funds for the club.  Perhaps something to look into.

Haha, he was 2 years ahead of me at Grammar, I had his old man for maths until he left. I can always remember he insisted that all answers were underlined in RED, small world.

2 years younger than me at school and his dad taught me too. What a legend Jonathan is and I still remember that smile from school days. Couldn’t help but still feel so proud of him again yesterday..

I'm thinking t-shirts with JVT's face and the slogan "Boston United -tearing the pants out of it since 1933" underneath...

What a great idea. When we do reopen again he should be guest of honour and walk round the pitch.

I must have a photo of the great man amongst all my photo albums, but after a quick trawl through recent sets haven't spotted him. Anyone know where he usually is when at York Street? If it's in the Main Stand then I won't have him there as that's where I sit, but could have him if it's one of the other stands.

He does sit in the main stand Ken, Did you attend the pre season friendly at Gainsborough? He and his young son were on the terrace with us there, you may have a snap of him there although he was dressed in a t shirt and shorts ( come to think of it he looked as though he had been dressed by Dom Cummings).

You got him Ken just another fan on match day enjoying supporting his club. Not many fans knew just what a special man he is and I am sure that he was happy with that and would want it to be just like that when we return.

There was a good one of him on Twitter the other week at the 2-2 draw at York 18 months or so ago, the photo had some terrace legends on just about to celebrate the 2nd goal.
