AFC Fylde FA Trophy
« on: December 18, 2020, 06:30:58 PM »
It seems AFC Fylde have a bit of a goalkeeping crisis at the moment. Their two senior keepers are injured, and they played their Academy goalie in the 4-1 FA Trophy win at Curzon Ashton on Tuesday night. Today they have signed another young 18-year-old keeper on loan from Burnley, so the visitors will have a youngster in between the sticks tomorrow one way or another. Just a shame there won't be a crowd cheering on the Pilgrims, just to 'welcome' him and make him feel less than comfortable.

Great second half and great set of penalties.  Equaliser was pretty awesome first goal at new stadium from a boston player. Well done lads

Great result. Great finish from Diamio and Fitsimons the hero in the shootout, who in my opinion has been fantastic all season and looked like a really good signing that could play at a higher level. Would love to progress further in the Trophy and get a trip to Wembley.

That is why I got my prediction wrong, as I thought Crook might have played in goal again. Agree that Fitz seems to have been a good signing.

Now we actually have won on penalties (in an important game) I'm a bit more confident in JVT's vaccine analogy...
