v York City
« on: January 08, 2021, 02:05:47 PM »
York City have been doing their homework on our players and think David Perkins (38) of Fylde is one of them. Hope their football is as useless as their research.
United we stand..................

May be a waste.  Looks like one hell of a frost tonight.

Looks like the club are doing all they can to get the match on tomorrow. Bought a frost blanket for the pitch with groundman Jim has put on.

New stadium design should hopefully mean we won't have issue we did at York Street with Spayne Rd side not getting the sun on it to thaw the frost with East Stand being lower than North and West Stand and stands set further back from pitch than YS.

Under-soil heating would've been nice. :)

Dave's given us a cracking new stadium, but he's not Elon Musk!

Temperature was around 0 to -1 at 11pm,  probably dipped to - 3/-4 this morning;  if the fleece didn't work Jim may as well roll it up and send it back  :police:

Look on the bright side. We’ll all have have the vaccination, lockdowns lifted and there will still be 25 odd games to go and watch

Manager tested positive yesterday, and 1 player woke up with symptoms so they had to call it off "as a precaution".
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Someone seems to have made a quick recovery, they seem to be playing Fylde on Tuesday night. We seem to be having some very iffy decisions go against us this year!!
