Here's who scored the first ever Boston United goal at Shodfriars Lane:
Billy Blessed
Forward (33-34) An outside right. Scored Boston United's first goal in their
first ever match against Grimsby Town Reserves. The goal, after twelve minutes was shot hard into an open goal after Blessed had been picked out from a free-kick centred by Simmons. The goal gave Boston the lead, but they went on to lose the match 1-3 after their keeper had gone off injured at half-time. Had previously played for Dulwich Hamlet and Crystal Palace as an amateur. Later played for Nuneaton.
The Outside Right position was usually the right sided attacking midfielder/winger and was player No. 7. So if history repeats itself with the current squad that could be: Andi Thanoj
