I expect many clubs League 1 downwards will be having financial issues at the moment. Likely be some players who would normally be at a League 2 / National League club that we might be able to get if clubs trim the size of the squads to cut costs.

League One and Two clubs now have a salary cap to stick to for this season. Anyone who hasn't signed a contract, will probably move down to the National League - assuming the salary cap isn't voted in for that level too.

It didn't pass. No salary cap in any of the National League divisions this season.
