Play off dates
« on: February 29, 2020, 09:03:29 PM »
Does anybody know the dates of this season's play offs?

I don't want to put the mockers on our chances, but I'd rather book leave from work now rather than risk not getting it approved if I ask for a day off a few days before a game. But I can't find the dates listed on any website - including the national league's.

They usually confirm them on the National League website (link usually via the "Information" drop-down menu) couple of months before the end of the season.

They are expected to be Wednesday 29th April for 1st round, Sunday 3rd May for semi-finals, and Sunday 10th May for the final. This marries up with the 2 previous seasons' dates.

As if by magic, dates have been confirmed. Final moved to a Saturday, which makes sense.

Assuming we are in the final, will it be at a neutral ground?

Team with highest placed league finish of the 2 teams in final is at home. A good way of doing it with some reward for finishing higher. Would make a fantastic final match at York Street.

Doh. The final is the same day as my wedding anniversary.
