With the winds forecast for Saturday they may have to tie a bungee to the ball.

Another game of hoofball then please!

Game looking doubtful.  United monitoring the situation.

Even if the pitch is playable (club reporting it is this morning but rain on its way) wind is forecast to be 53mph at 3pm tomorrow. How windy is too windy to postpone a match?  Lynn cancelled their match because of wind 2 weeks ago citing safety concerns.

I think if the ball is placed in the centre circle and blows away then it's too windy.

We had an away game postponed for wind at Durham City when we were in the Unibond. It was the season Durham were playing an inexperienced team so I'm certain Scotty and Hursty were pleased not to lose any points due to fluke goals, Sure enough we beat them a few weeks later....

I think that the Durham match wasn't helped either by the artificial pitch that Durham had at the time.

Only 4 matches remaining in our league at present and ironic that one of them is at the infamous Spennymoor ground.
Two of the others are in flooded areas, Hereford and York and the last is up in Darlington.  Would have made good odds at the bookies!
United we stand..................

I am surprised by all this rain and shocked by the flooding, but blown away by the wind!
