Surprised really, thought with the sun being out the most it has been for a long while and with the wind, it would've dried out.

If there was any doubt about the pitch it was the correct decision to call it off early and take consideration of the away team and their fans round trip of 300 miles.  Unlike some others I could mention.

Everybody keep their fingers and legs crossed. Storm Dennis[?] is coming our way. Due to hit UK on Saturday lunchtime. Not as windy as the last one, but more rain. A LOT more rain.
