Just a little moan about last night

I know when a match is televised, major firms pay for advertising.  But last night I noticed advertising boards placed in front of, and blocking loyal and regular supporting firms of Boston United. If I was one of these firms I would be a little miffed.

Guess it was the same idiots who were throwing their lighters  onto the pitch. The youth with the laser looked mid 30’s and was standing at the front to the right of the goal looking towards the pitch. We wanted a big cup match at YOrk Street we got it we weren’t overrun there was a great atmosphere so for me these will be the lasting images. The regrets will be a goalkeeping error a soft penalty and a delay while the smoke cleared which will have helped the Rochdale players regroup.

They weren't blocking the current hoardings, they were set below them. The hoardings on the main stand are raised up about 3 feet.

The boards are doubles-stacked in some places and the FA Cup ad boards did indeed obscure those local firms unfortunate enough to be at the bottom. Disappointing.

As always money talks , particularly in football .    I'm sure Craig and Chestnuts had it all sorted with the  advertisers .

Yeah, true. Craig is very much on top of things. There may even be a clause in the contract for this kind of thing by default.
