Rochdale Replay
« on: December 10, 2019, 10:23:30 AM »
Anybody know if in the event of a draw after ninety minutes the match will go straight to penalties or will there be an extra thirty minutes and then penalties.
Either way I hope we’ve been practicing penalties.

Yeah, extra time then penalties up until the fifth round, after which replays have now been abolished.

Ties upto and including the 4th round are replayed after 90 minutes, then replays go to extra time and penalties.
5th round onwards are single games, with extra time and penalties is level after 90 minutes.

The 5th round this season will be played midweek.

I'm not sure that the fifth round will affect us too much, but we can dream.

Hoping we get an easy draw in the 4th Round... West Ham maybe.

As a "part-time" West Ham supporter, I think that would be Gillingham we'd be playing.
