County Cup

Difficult to rate the first half, given we made so many changes and played an alien formation, but even a well shuffled pack got it together enough to show the extra quality needed to get through. Decent result in the end
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Shows we've got strength in depth. 10 changes to the starting 11 from Saturday, all 10 of which are good players at our level.

Tuton played very, very well. Two goals and one assist for him.

Good to see a few youth teamers get a debut!

On to Saturday, hopefully 500+ of us there, going to be hard to get the atmosphere going though as Carshalton dont have the license for drums to be in the ground  ;D so im sure if we have a few drums going the stewards will put a stop to it :-[

When there's 500 of us, we don't need drums for atmosphere anyway.

Dont you think? Majority will be spread around the ground other than the usual chanters.

With an open roof cant actually see the atmosphere being the best.

Daft rule about the drum for me. But will be a great turnout and atmosphere, we are travelling all that way so down to us.

Not saying all 500 will be in the same area, but a good 200 together will be loud. Open roof? We can take over the side terrace..

Has that stand got enough support posts? Not going to get a great view at the back of that stand.  Some people knock modern stadia but at least don't have these in view.

The stand roof height is staggered.  Does that mean the pitch has a big slope?

I doubt it - it would need to be level to install the 3G pitch (Harrogate did the same).
