George Green ( a fan's view )

Talking to some Chester fans before the match.  They told me, if we can get George's mind on the job we have a good player.

They also said, his mouth runs away with him a bit.  On a couple of occasions he has nearly come to blows with his team mates.  They said when this starts happening, the manager should get him off.  He was sent off a couple of times and in their opinion, he did not merit it.  But his constant griping at the ref made him a target.

Another Ben Middleton then!
In both cases as long as the quality they bring outweighs the mouth, I haven't got a problem with that sort of player.
I did once refer to Middleton as a liability when he loses it, but I've since realised that if you take that away from him, you lose half of what he's about, and he's a decent player at this level.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Ben Middleton was very well behaved ... he had a very good game all round really.
i spoke to him after the game and complimented him on his behaviour.. he smiled and said "its in my contract i have to "
