LIncs senior Cup v Scunthorpe.
« on: July 14, 2019, 03:04:03 PM »
I see the Iron play Leicester City the day before they play us, so can't imagine they will be turning up with the first team.

We shouldn't be segregated then, like we were against Grimsby.

Probably shouldn't be 10 pounds either. Although I would say the greedy Lincs FA set that price.

I think the faces we see at York Street tonight will most likely be the ones that are under contract or going to be offered something.
Just going on what Craig and the media have reported, in recent day's.

Well, at least that gives us a potential Cup Final route to look forward to later this season! We must be odds on favourite to win tonight!

Yeah from what CE said in the interview on Monday night is that the team we play tonight will probably be the main starting XI for the season.

We don't seem to be forecasting for this game but will get a bit of practice in, so: -
Boston United  2 - 1  Scunthorpe Utd U23's   (Att:  656)
United we stand..................

4-2 win for us, could have been more, excellent shift put in by everyone tonight, great result.
Sign up Tuton now, quality and know shone through, his link up play was excellent.
Many positives from this bunch of lads.

Things look promising for this season. Players look in good condition and chase everything. Tuton looked a very good player and a must have. Greens goal was well taken, should do wonders for his confidence. Amuses me how many of our players have beards. Thewlis excellent, great to see a forward playing for us who knows where the goal is, so different to last year. Rollins playing in his proper position is brilliant.

A good and predictable one sided win! Got a good chance to win this trophy now.
