Must be true. Just heard Allot saying that their  ambition for promotion sold the move to him. Doesn’t say much for us if that’s right.

Well he's hardly going to say when asked, "Yeah I moved to Trinity as it's a shorter commute" is he? Besides, if he's that ambitious, why drop a level? I suspect he was probably offered reduced terms so I doubt him refusing came as any surprise to Craig Elliott.

I didn't mind Allott, I liked his hustle, but yeah - broadly I agree that if we want to be playoff contenders I think we need an upgrade up top. Hopefully if he can stay fit then Thewlis could be that upgrade.

If I'm Elliott I'm going all out to get Clare back, younger, more potential and in the glimpses he got looked more of a presence (and scored!... A few times!)
