I think this is a great move, Having been to the Keepmoat I can say it is a terrific place and without doubt the players training there will feel like premiership players. As the manager explained it has everything and he intends meetings with players after training over a coffee in the great facilities, as opposed to just jumping in cars and going home from a soccer field at the back of beyond. Add to that that open training sessions to be held once a month at York Street which will allow supporters to attend and better get to know the players can only be possitives. This was as a result of an idea from a fan at the forum and Craig said he would be happy to here any other ideas from fans at any time.

The training session idea is a very good one. Well done to whoever thought that up (I expect the players won't be so keen on the extra travelling, but suck it up lads - you're at a decent club!).

Would groundshare be the Meres at Grantham?

No thanks.

Sincil Bank or London Road, maybe? I'd say King's Lynn, but that's 30-odd miles in the wrong direction for the players to travel.

Given our superb winning record this last 12 months at the away grounds in and around Manchester - and the fact that I'm so close to them all - my vote goes to playing 'home' games at any them. LOL!!

It'd probably be Stamford. Just off the A1, not too far from Boston, nice little ground which I *think* would be up to our league grading.... no brainer really.

But let's not dwell on it! The new stadium WILL be ready. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts...

The planned main stand and one covered end alone would be far better facility than the likes of Brackley.

Build it in stages and fans will stay & maybe grow, groundshare & the attendance will wither.

Sounds like a lot of positives came out of last night's forum.

Was CE asked anything about this seasons recruitment, why he got it so badly wrong & how he will go about it differently next season??£
why didn't you email the club with your questions ??? But yes he did get asked and he admitted he got a few things wrong and he knows what he needs to do to improve the squad.

The point about emailing the club with questions is a good one. Maybe the club could set up a fan.suggestions@bostonunited.co.uk email address or something similar?

Yes Mick valid point re: emailing club. As I couldn't get 2 the forum I was v interested as 2 how CE would respond to the inevitable question of why 90% of his signings this season have flopped?

As several on here have posted major concerns re his recruitment this season, for him 2 say there have been "a few mistakes"; coupled with he knows what 2 do differently next season: does not fill me full of confidence, or instill any air of optimism. As much as signing quality, a manager must be able to gel players into a potent force as a team. Nearly 50 signings this season & a team terrified to turn out at home? No strategic style of play & in his fist full season home gates since b4 Christmas sometimes under 900! Really hope I'm wrong but his few mistakes this season will need a gargantuan improvement if he wants 2 give us a top 5 side next season.

Does this statement mean that the Gliderdrom is up for sale.
Nicole Madin, Business Agent at Christie and Co who is handling the sale comments, “This is an excellent opportunity for a new development to be created, subject to planning permission, which benefits the town of Boston and also presents a purchaser with the option of maintaining an historic music and events venue.”

A statement from the Malkinson family in mid April this year stated that York Street ground & car park were being sold. However, the Gliderdrome was Not being sold as part of the deal.
