CE named midfielders who "didn't try hard enough" on Saturday

midfielder John Welch has left Grimsby today "by mutual consent"

is there a link?

Well we have all been screaming for a big experienced center half so could Ryan Cresswell be the one? Certainly very experienced at levels slightly above ours so could well be a future captain if he settles in. Welcome Ryan. UTP

We did have at the start of the season, was it John McCoombe, played virtually every game for play off winning Harrogate the season before but Elliott didnâ€™t rate him. Think heâ€™s also weighed in with 10 goals this season at Witton which would put him close to being our top scorer.

Obviously Elliott was right then if heâ€™s scoring at Witton, and not in the CN.
