1) the size of Akinfenwa - he is huge
2) Morcambe building a £12 million stadium.

But lets be honest here, would any of you class Morecambe, Spaccrington Stanley, Cheltenham, Macclesfield or Burton as bigger clubs than Boston Utd, because I know I don't.

The difference is they didn't pi$$ their chance on the big stage up the wall by allowing con men and criminals into their clubs. Just think where we'd probably be now if Dave and the gang had rolled up when Des Wood's option on York St ran out eh.

My guess is still a league club in a tidy new ground.

It showed the steel work already erected for a 6000 all seater. Someting about the size we would/will be looking at I would guess.
Bit blown away by the £12 mill.
Thats a lot of Santas!
Or a lot of cooperation between every fan, council, Chestnuts, fa, lottery grants, etc etc.
Just glad we've got the Chestnuts at the helm - they may pull it off. But not on their own.

There was actually a third extraordinary thing in the Football League Show - Rotherham's goalscorers included Drewe Broughton!

It was surprising enough that he found another League Club after being relegated with Boston, but the fact that he's still there and still scoring .....

Morecambe sold their ground to a supermarket, hence the available money.
Southend and Bristol city have also followed suit. If anyone thinks building a ground costs a couple of million then we are mistaken. Just dealing with the electic and drainage and access could be 3 million. Car park another million. Then stands a million each. Soon get to 10 million. Scary stuff
