Boston Town
« on: January 13, 2019, 04:04:05 PM »
There was a large contingent of Pilgrims' supporters to watch third from bottom Town play third from top Deeping yesterday and we were treated to a superb hard fought match, with Town drawing 1-1. We saw one of the most audacious goals of the season and one of the best goalkeeping performances, both from Town. Let's hope both Boston's teams are on the up.

As an occasional Deeping supporter I just thought I would clarify that Deeping actually won 2-0 yesterday, Boston Town played Pinchbeck who are also doing pretty well in the UCL.  Pinchbeck are currently managed by ex-BGS student Ian Dunn.

Are Pinchbeck playing at Spalding? Looks like their ground from the highlights.

I think they are looking to develop something in their own village. I presume you'll want us to change out name to Wyberton United soon...
