I know you did - it's a good idea and deserves its own thread. Someone should also start a Facebook group and then a petition on the Govermnent site. Christ, we could even get the Daily Mail to campaign for it.

I agree Pete it would be a lovely gesture. Will mention it to David Newton at the Trust AGM today.
Please come along everyone 1. 30  pm Conservative club Main Ridge would be very satisfying to see a good turn out members or not.

Maybe we should let the lincoln fans in too. I feel for the lincoln fans, this could be the first time that they could have the opportunity to watch some proper football.  ;D

back to the original thread. I never thought about the poor souls that would have already paid out for a season ticket at Kings Lynn, to give them the opportunity to watch a game on boxing day for free is nice.

And I'll supply the wood for the pillory, or will he be there as a legend?

bit harsh compareing Lynn fans with the guy who almost (read other posts ref trust meeting) took the club down.
I personally think its a good idea, after all where else have they got to go? Wisbech, Holbeach?
if an offer of this kind is forthcoming maybe they'll come again

and spend money on refreshments or a program and we could tell the tax man that the whole attendence was by Lynn fans so there wasn't an income and not pay tax on the att (sorry got caught in a time zone then) its not 2004 anymore :o

They'll maybe not come again as hopefully Lynn will start again but I think they (BUFC) should give them an incentive to come, perhaps a fiver on production of their season ticket or something like that.

I'm opposed to anyone getting in for free, as a supporter who at present can't afford to attend every home game I don't see why someone who's not contributed to our club and has no affinity to it should get a freebie over those of us who want to attend but can't afford to. There's a lot of us having to make sacrifices at present, sadly entertainment will always come second best to a roof over my head.

They'd be getting a one-off festive freebie Andy - their club has just ceased to exist! I wouldn't have an issue with that under the circumstances....

I didn't see too many people clamoring to help us out Pete.

Someones winding us up  :o
I reckon they should be let in, it will help out with the rehabilitation of our club's reputation after a few very dodgy years, and also, its just the right thing to do in this season of goodwill.
Imagine how bad it would feel if it was us, Xmas with no footy  >:(
Maybe they could also arrange a reduction for BUFC fans who are struggling financially, just as a one-off  :-\

We needed the money to pay off massive depts P B . being wound up means no bills to clear .  As Andy said nobody came clamouring to help us , this surprised a few deluded people who had listened to a manager constantly boasting about his "great mates" in the game.
