Maybe Reece Thompson will be back. I don't think he's even scored this year for Guiseley ?

I think that we will struggle to score goals with anyone up front because Craig seems to be very conservative in his tactics and unless we can find someone with a conversion rate of over 70% of chances to goals (not much hope) our scoring record will not improve much.

We seem to be set up to get better results away from home. So it may be that if we want to see the best of our team we need to get on the road.

The bottom line is we need to sign a goalscorer. Absolutely like it or lump it, Dennis Greene brought such strikers to the club. Mark Jones, Ricky Miller, Southwell, Sands, I me a  what part of it don't you Get!!  Craig is like Murray clueless to solve the problem.
Couldn't agree more Champs, it's  an obvious problem that has not been fixed.
We don't have any direct strikers who can trouble defences, the opposition must love playing us, as l doubt any team actually fears us.

Let's hope he's got some creativity to his play or else he'll just be relying on our usual service!

So we have signed a striker who is not scoring goals, and so far CE has not yet managed to get any of the past and present ones scoring goals.
Hmm let's see what happens with this, let's hope this one doesn't get ejected through the biggest revolving door in non league.

As a life long supporter, who has an opinion about a lot, but knowledge about little.  I think that  if we sort out the midfield we will have a tidy team.  Prolific scorers seem to dry up when they put on the amber.

All the matches I have seen this season had the same problem, a 50 yard gap between defence and forward line.  We need midfielders not forwards.

Anyway, good luck to the lad and welcome to Boston.

Let’s hope he scores more for us than he has for Braintree.

He's made 1 start (away at Fylde), and 2 sub appearances this season, totalling 68 minutes.

Some of the web stat pages have him profiled as a defender/holding midfielder, aged 21?? So is Rowe a striker then,?
