Yes I saw that, l don't know the circumstances behind it.
But let's hope this is not the start of a season of messing about by Nuneaton.

Similar to the alty game. Kept them generally at arms length bar a couple of good saves by willis and carried a threat, especially first half. Played on the counter 2nd half, could still have had a couple more
Clean sheet was encouraging again
Can we play every game away near Manchester this season!
101 happy united fans in the away end

Quality result. Much needed. Well done CE and team.
He who would valiant be , 'gainst all disaster.
Let him in constancy follow the master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent, to be a Pilgrim.

Said when I stepped on the bus that I really fancied we would get back on the horse today. Never worry to much about a sticky patch with Craig in charge he will not let it continue. From the first whistle we were passing it about quickly and effectively. Nicky Walker was at his best again and what a revelation the two Grimsby lads were, two lads with great futures ahead of them. Sorry for lack of names but the 19year old winger is like lightening in attack but also dashing back to support his fullback, excellent. The Centre forward again very quick but also a good brain on him, frightening the opposition to death and his headed goal was exquisite. A special mention for Nathan Arnold, a lovely goal but his work rate getting back and getting a foot in was exemplary, good to see Ash Jackson back he was really up for it and his enthusiasm rubbed off on others. A great clean sheet and a great team win. Onward and Upward.  UTP.

Heat 13 and Max Frickes ride Wednesday WOW

That was exactly the word I used as Max crossed the line!! We are really fortunate to see top quality racing at the National Speedway Stadium every week, but that race will surely go down as the best one yet since the stadium opened in 2016.

And, after yesterday's win, I'll be making sure my Stockport County supporting speedway friends are reminded of the result when I see them again at the next Belle Vue home match!!
