Halifax today .
« on: July 28, 2018, 09:43:18 AM »
According to Halifax forum they have only 14 players signed at the moment .  they have gone full time .
Helps when one of the players is Dayle Southwell who will give our defence a stiff test .

Will we have any new faces ?    loans most likely I would guess.

Their manager is a strange guy. Left both Forest and Notts under clouds. Talks a great game but never lasts very long anywhere. Maybe that's why player numbers are low? Anyway, that's not Bostons problem. Should be a good test

No surprises in team ,  the 10 expected starters with a trialist making the starting side .
No McCombe on bench , hopefully that's the last we've seen of him .

County fan's hated him and he is a poor manager, went to watch county v Orient and he fell over in the technical area on the mud, he couldn't get back up and kept slipping.
The county fan laughed and cheered at him.
Ironically Kevin Nolan helped him to his feet.
He tinkers with teams all the time, just like a youth coach.

Good result, listening to the poor commentary it sounded quite comfortable and sets us up for the big kick off next week. See you all tomorrow weather permitting.  UTP

Yes good result, perhaps some more signings.
I see Topliss was named today, does that mean he has been signed.

Smashed it. 2-1 flattered them and they scored after we'd taken virtually everyone off. Midfield pair ran the show. Defence did what little they had to. Clinical in general with what chances we created. Much improved in the Lincoln city display.
Can't see them being above midtable on that showing in the national. We stole the ball high uo repeatedly first half in fact I barely remember them getting into our final third until about 60 mins or so

Those who came on did solid enough. Keeper made some good saves but also got away with a bit of a clanger and having made a good save was our of position for the cross which dayle scored from.

Onto Saturday now. Let's get 1500 down there
