Guiseley are no longer full time. I would assume that would have implications on a few of their players contracts?

What do you do about a striker reputed to be on a £1500 week on a f/t contract ?

similar to what we did with a couple of wages in the immediate post-league seasons, take it on the chin and fill the squad with younger players on the way up or season long loans, and hope to survive the season in mid-table obscurity. Admittedly, it would still be a huge strain on the budget though.

Unfortunately for us, if I was Guiseley, Iwould cash in if possible to shift the wages off the books and keep a Mr Thompson who has shown that he is more than cut out for this level.
