Sounds like we played unusually poor today especially in the 1st half. A bit more energy and attacking but rather fruitless in the 2nd half. Lets hope this is a small blip and get back to winning ways at York Street next week against BPA.

Well done to Durham today.  They only lost 3-2.

First batch of pics, more to follow - though not many today, it's getting close to that time of year when it's a bit too gloomy to take decent pics with my camera on a Saturday afternoon.  :(

Just didn't work today, you can't play football in custard and we're not accustomed to lumping it long so much.

I would like to wipe that retched nonsense in black from my memory quickly, absolute waste of space, the thought of him going up the pyramid (as all whistle happy little hitlers do) makes me sick.  We played poorly, but you can't play football if you not allowed to run for more than 30 seconds at a time and we were always going to result to hurling it long and throwing it up to the big men.

Tosser in black, Toss pitch, Toss performance in difficult conditions.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

I know what you're saying but if we are going to win the league we have to adapt to whatever the condition is or state of the pitch is. The ref was shocking but he was shocking for both sides, my only gripe was the amount of cards he gave us (bang goes our fair play league position in 1 game). It wasn't a dirty game and the idiot didn't allow for the conditions at all. He was totally inept but we spent 90 minutes and only had Weir-Daley's last minute effort that he should really have scored to show, that can only be down to the team who where piss poor today it has to be said.

Still the effort was there even if the application wasn't and I'm still confident that we'll still be up there come the end of the season. Was a pretty forgettable game tbh.

A couple more pics showing the state of the facilities at Matlock.

No wonder the assistant referee had trouble keeping up with play - this is what he had to run through!

What was down that side last year? I don't remember the ground being one shed, a breezeblock cube and 1930's main stand and a container from Immingham last year?  What was missing?

The bar!
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.
