If we had won Saturday we would be 3 points off the play offs and we would be 9th. Tuesday nights performance shows what the lads are capable of. Equally so did Saturdays second half performance for the opposite reasons!!!!

Its a shame really as both Chorley and Spennymoor lost in the week.

IMHO we are certainly going the right way under the new manager. From second bottom in the league to 6 points off the play offs is a great improvement.

All about consistency. If you take into account 2 dropped points against FCUM, the 2 we
were robbed of against Stockport, the point against Bradford and the poor performances
against Leamington and Curzon things could have looked so different.

Problem is all the other clubs will say exactly the same. The whole season does not
lie and we have just come up short by the looks of it, despite the very poor start.

All I know is that Craig Elliot and his staff have been superb since being appointed,
not perfect, but what a fantastic job they have done.

Pity they cant win players of the year-- they deserve it. Lets all look forward to next year
