Another excellent performance. Especially 2nd half midfield ran the show. Just a pity our finishing let us down. York lost, it was a chance to just put a bit of pressure on them and Chorley in the last few games but alas, let's see how high we can finish and end with some momentum.
Let's see how far off we are against Harrogate and Salford

great performance by  Boston Utd  at Harrogate  on Tuesday evening.  ok yes it was foggy, but the mid- field players really bossed  Spennymoor around, well done to the whole team

First game I have been able to watch united for a while due to working Saturdays and was pleasantly surprised at the performance before the game I would’ve snapped your hand off with a point especially after seeing spennymoor tearing us apart earlier in the season. But walked away wondering how we didn’t win the game.

Thought we just about edged the first half not many real clear cut chances and second half how we didn’t score I will never know. The three players I would do my utmost to build the team around next year hemmings, thommo and abbot all missing guilt edge chances. A mixture of good keeping and poor finishing, hemmings cut inside and tried to place it rather than hitting it as hard as he could tipped over and thommo’s cut back anywhere else and it’s a goal and Abbott’s rebound which any of the 2 united players next to him could’ve had a touch and placed it in but we panicked and snatched at it.

Defence pretty much dealt with everything relatively comfortably, midfield managed to settle but Clifton you could tell looked like he had missed a lot of football and beesley looks so short of confidence.

As for Reece Thompson every time I see him play I just wonder why he’s with us, unbelievable attitude and work rate and has the ability to back it up.

Much credit must go to Craig and his team for turning round such an awfully assembled side especially mid season to a very outside chance of a play off side

Surprise , surprise ,   Spennymoor match at home to NFU today is called off due to unfit ground .

Surely clubs in North should press for action to be taken against this Micky Mouse team .
Ideas?

Expulsion from the league ?
Order them to play all their remaining home matches at Harrogate .?
Order them to compensate teams such as Boston for losses incurred due to MM organisation ?
If not expelled from league ban them from playing on present ground until substantial investment is made to upgrade it to an acceptable standard ?

If no arrangement is made about next seasons home games  surely they cannot be permitted to enter the play-offs ,  surely clowns like these will not be accepted by Conference National.

They will get away with everything, and this league is run northern rich men.
They will probably get promoted and will still be able to carry on with a rubbish ground, and pitch .

A pitch inspection today has declared the pitch not fit to stage Tues match against KHFC ,  The match is transferred to Harrogate .

A pitch inspection will take place Thurs before declaring if it is suitable for the match v Darlington .

This is an absolute joke, why are they not being made to forfeit the games and points.
They couldn't care less about games being switched it makes no difference to them.
The question that needs answering here, is why the hell were they allowed into this league with a history of having a poor unplayable pitch, which they have obviously not done anything about.

These games will cost Spenny in lost gate revenue , also Harrogate should be able to command a sizable sum for the hire of the ground .   Good .

But this does not address the question of fair play , i.e while Boston , Brackley and Harrogate have avoided playing on "the bog " this gives an unfair advantage over rivals who have had to play on the bog .

Add to this the problems and expense created by the altered arrangements to opposing clubs and supporters .

The only fair outcome is to dismiss them from the league immediately and remove their results.
