Contracts at this level gives fans a false sense of security ,   if a manager or players are wanted by a richer club and they wish to go it is likely they will.

Sorry but why even bring up , the Grimsby vacancy was started by the media as speculation but then started the rumour mill off.
I don't see the point of even mentioning it, sorry I don't mean offended but I don't think comments like that give fans a sense of security and just causes doubt.

Yes this is a forum and I would never complain about anyone's freedom of speech and would never gag anyone,
I just don't want to tempt fate in anyway, we have a cracking manager and staff, best we keep them all to ourselves.
Chesterfield could have Housham he would be good manager to bring them down to our league.

Could argue that wholesale changes are not required.

Most of the team that played at the end of the season were not here at the start of the season. On 2nd half of the season form we're a playoff side.

With so many players available close season, the clear out will be significant. They'll be some good talent out there and CE will hopefully be recruiting well.

I see in the press that Brad McGowan is going under the knife, and vows to come back stronger and fitter, I am surprised that he hasn't had the operation before now.
Will he be here next season who knows, then does Jay require one to?
